I started pulling on threads.
One thread became ten.
And eventually everything unraveled.
The old stories.
The old expectations.
The way we interact with children.
The systems that bind us.
Now I help families do the same.
Because everybody deserves to feel like themselves.
And children surely deserve to exist in spaces that honour who they are.

My story
Sacred Oak Way is my life's work.
The way we are living isn't it. But what is?
For nearly two decades I've been following that question.
Not from behind a desk.
From inside my own life.
I've travelled through more than 30 countries. Founded an alternative school. Taught in traditional classrooms. Written educational research. Hosted homeschool children in my home. Studied global educational philosophies, child development, trauma, neurodivergence and conscious parenting.
When our family felt the pull toward something different, we didn't just talk about it.
We sold things.
We left.
We moved to Costa Rica.
It taught me more about freedom, family, resilience, community, nervous system health, and what children truly need than any degree ever could.
