Many of the systems we inherited were never designed with children, families, or human flourishing in mind.
Yet here we are.
Trying to squeeze wild, creative, sensitive, brilliant children into environments that take more than they give.
Trying to create connection in a culture of disconnection.
Trying to raise resilient children while living lives that leave us depleted.
If you feel it in your bones too...

Founder
Let us walk this way together
The Sacred Oak Way was born from my families own needs.
It came from a lifelong pursuit of one question:
I don't have all the answers. I have my experience. My trials and errors. My family life. Many mistakes. It is a way that I have found works and I believe in it deeply. I hope it helps you too.
This Way has been shaped by my lived experience, my education and motherhood. I’ve travelled, searched and listened in over 30 countries, watching where children thrive and where they quietly disappear. I’ve toured many educational alternatives, homeschool cooperatives, and have observed their ways.
I’ve spent over a decade in traditional classrooms, founded an alternative school and hosted homeschool children in my home. I’ve instructed educators in a college setting and most recently have provided academic research on Global Educational Philosophies, STEM, Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Child Development.
For the past 8 years, much of my spare time has been spent learning about the nervous system, trauma informed care, neurodivergence, global parenting approaches, and conscious parenting.
