Invitational and Rich Learning Environments
For families and communities at home, we offer mentorship and guidance to help you create your own rich environments - one step at a time.
We will support you in intentionally designing invitations. The spaces themselves support autonomy, regulation, creativity, and real-world skill building.
Rooted in global educational philosophies - Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Anji Play, Forest School, and land-based learning - our environments are designed to offer children rich experiences, engaging materials, and meaningful mentorship.
We believe the space itself is a teacher. Children are trusted with real tools, real choice, and real responsibility, within environments that support autonomy, creativity, regulation, and deep learning.
Together we will allow The Way of the Child
Child-Centered, Personalized & Responsive Education
Sacred Oak honors each child’s unique brilliance. Learning is personalized, responsive, and rooted in autonomy, real-life projects, and meaningful work. Children are supported in following their interests, igniting passion and purpose, and developing confidence and pride in their abilities.
Through both personalized and interdependent projects, children learn to trust themselves, build self-agency, advocate for their needs, and recognize their strengths. Each child’s gifts are celebrated and woven into shared work, allowing them to experience both independence and belonging.
