Sacred Oak Way exists to support that knowing in practice, not theory, so communities don’t have to invent everything alone or lose themselves trying to copy something that doesn’t fit.

This is for families who want to reclaim education, community and are done trying to replicate outdated or broken systems or models.

A New Global Educational Philosophy

Sacred Oak Way is a licensed, stewarded framework for those creating real-world learning communities rooted in a deep respect for children, family life, and lived learning.

This is not an online program.
It is not a curriculum to download.

It is a way of holding space - practiced on land, with real children, in real communities,

Becoming a Sacred Oak Way site means you are stewarding the Way where you live.

What a Sacred Oak Way Site Is

A Sacred Oak Way site is a real, in-person learning community created and stewarded locally.

It is run by you and your community, each with clear roles and agreements.

Families create a shared rhythm of life that centers children as whole, capable beings and supports adults to lead with clarity, regulation, and care.

This is not childcare.
Not school as usual.
Not a drop-off service.

It is a community-held learning environment where children and parents grow together.

What You Are Trained In:

This work is highly structured, deeply researched, and tested in lived environments. The clarity allows for the flow. The structure allows for the freedom.

Through the Sacred Oak Way licensing, you are trained to:

Open & Hold a Site

  • how to begin well and establish coherence

  • how to orient families clearly

  • how to set agreements that actually work

  • how to design spaces that become the learning

Organize & Coordinate

  • daily and weekly rhythms

  • flow of people, spaces, and energy

  • clear roles for adults

  • systems that reduce chaos and burnout

Design Learning Pathways

  • child-led, developmentally responsive pathways

  • clubs and project arcs rooted in real interests

  • tested frameworks for project-based learning

  • knowing when to intervene - and when not to

Respond to Children Well

  • reading nervous system cues

  • supporting regulation without punishment or reward

  • honoring autonomy while holding boundaries

  • meeting neurodiverse needs with respect

Support Families

  • reclaiming time as a family

  • conscious parenting pathways

  • reducing power struggles

  • strengthening trust and connection

  • creating shared language between home and community

This is not theory.
It is practice - taught clearly, step by step.

Licensing Structure

  • Founding Steward License (one-time): $8,000

  • Annual Renewal: $2,000 introductory rate locked in for 5 years.

The license allows you to:

  • operate as a Sacred Oak Way site

  • use the name and framework with integrity

  • participate in the steward network

  • remain in relationship and support

There is no requirement to grow, scale, or franchise further.

The license includes:

  • training and access to the Sacred Oak Way frameworks

  • training for all parents/guides

  • monthly steward calls with Q & A

  • monthly expert support

  • shared steward network

  • quarterly synthesis and refinement

  • invitation to an optional annual gathering

Optional Deeper Support

Some sites may choose additional support, including:

  • 1:1 consulting

  • operational and rhythm support

  • staff orientation and training

  • in-person immersions - setup and training

These are optional, limited, and offered only by mutual alignment.
