Our Team
Sacred Oak is being built through collaboration, trust, and shared responsibility. We believe the way forward is together.
Our core team is still forming. We are calling in people who are aligned in values, grounded in presence, and committed to honoring the way of the child. Some roles are already held, others are still finding their way home through timing, resonance, and right relationship.
This is a living village, not a fixed hierarchy. We move slowly, intentionally, and with care - trusting that the right people arrive when the conditions are right.
We are grateful for the magic of alignment and the community that continues to gather around this work.
Amy Cojocar
Amy Cojocar is a lifelong learner, educator, and community weaver with over a decade of experience in classrooms around the world - from Canada to Australia and the UAE - and deep immersion in alternative education across cultures and landscapes. Her journey evolved from traditional teaching into a heartfelt mission: to discover and create a way of learning that honors the sacredness of each child’s life, interests, and inner genius.
This led her to craft an educational philosophy rooted in sovereignty, warriorship, real-life projects, and community support, now blossoming as The Sacred Oak Way at Wild Haven.
Amy’s work is grounded in research, global experience, and a deep reverence for life as the ultimate teacher. She believes that when children are trusted, supported, and invited into meaningful, co-created learning - and adults grow alongside them - families and communities flourish with connection, creativity, and purpose. Creative Director - Flow Collective
Amy Viola is the Founder and Guardian of Wild Haven, a conscious learning village rooted in trust, self-directed learning, and nervous-system-informed care. With a background in Psychology and History, and over a decade of experience in emotional healing, sacred circles, and holistic support (including yoga, breathwork, counselling, and doula work), Amy brings a deeply embodied approach to holding space for both children and adults. Becoming a mother transformed her path, and her family’s move to Costa Rica - alongside inspiration and ongoing mentorship from Casa Sulà - solidified her commitment to child-led education and village-based life. Today, Amy weaves together education, parenting, and community, guided by the belief that children thrive when they are trusted, deeply seen, and held within a conscious, connected village.
